The Book of GreedIn the beginning there was the world and the innocent creatures, and each creature had it's place and took only that which it needed and the world lived in harmony. Then there came a time when one of the creatures rose up above all the other creatures and thought itself superior to it's brother and sister animals and to it's mother the earth. Mother Earth and her sister Nature began to send warnings. Drought, famine and mighty floods began to plague the land. Strange diseases laid waste the cities. And everywhere upon the world was the mark of the Hu-Man in the name of Greed and the Profit. And so there came a time when the Earth was poised to become Hell eternal, a blackened poisoned mudball in space where the last creatures struggled and fought for the little that was left. And the time is now… |
